We invite you to the International Masterclass at Chateau de Busset, offering an integrated holistic musical and personal experience.
Here you can expeience the timelessness of past and contemporary genres in all their different performance styles
For experienced pianists we are offering the opportunity to explore the secrets of the instruments of a time gone by with the internationally well known pianist, art producer Alexey Botvinov. In an extraordinary setting we will explore the timbres of a range of older master instruments.
Alexey Botvinov, Odessa/Ukraine, is one of the best known internat. performers of Rachmaninov and Bach,and is the only to have given more than 295 life performances of the Goldberg Variations.
He will demonstrate the great range of sounds and timbres of old master instruments, for instance an original Steinway&Sons grand piano from 1928 in comparison with contemporary grand pianos. Furthermore, he will enable you to develop your musical potential in a sensitive and inspiring manner.

Active participance will receive daily individual 50min lessons.
High quality instruments of different ages are available in the castle for practice and exploration.
The lessons are in the original rooms of Henry IV.
Passive participance can visiting the lections.
With experienced pianobuilders you also can discover the creations of the pianoworld of different soundquality of the former&present time. With referat, demonstration, discussion & work on the instrument.
Our Castlekitchen will indulgence you also with fine meals(as well vegetarian) in a royal atmosphere with adaequate good wines.
The special atmosphere of the castle in it's authenticity and it's history, going back into the 13th century, with it's founder, who was the last Grandmaster of the Templers, offering you an extraordinary space, where you can discover your own journey through time, space and music.
The castle's museum with it's Alchemist's tower gives you still an impression of it's misterious .
